An 18 month project as a trusted local agent on behalf of Mercy Health, a top 5 large US Healthcare organisation, with annual income in excess of $6 Billion.
Mercy Health offered to help transform Irish healthcare and establish an Irish hub to provide telemedicine services within the EU and to the USA.
This project involved
Analysis of Irish healthcare needs
Evaluation of published plans to improve healthcare to identify potential improvements, available budgets, priorities and timelines
Matching needs with Mercy’s service offering
Financial evaluation of all costs and benefits of proposed changes in healthcare service delivery
Working with local hospitals to develop pilot programs to establish proof of concept
National roll out plan prepared and ready for for implementation as soon as proof of concept established and savings delivered
Engagement with the Leadership Teams of HSE, Department of Health, Department of Public Expenditure and Reform, Hospitals in Dublin and Cork, Private Health Insurers, Irish Strategic Investment Fund, Medical Accreditation Bodies, US and UK Leaders in Healthcare Reform, political leaders and the press. The levels of engagement were particularly informative and will be very useful for future health reform projects.

Mobilising foreign direct investment from the West into countries that urgently need help and persuading governments of the changes needed to facilitate the flow of FDI.
Implementing multi year economic reform strategies for individual countries and economic regions, engaging with Governments and NGO’s, evaluating and approving over 120 projects annually with a combined value of c.€4 Billion to improve the lives of over 1 billion people and thereby minimise economic migration.
Housing Sector Reform
Assisting a US Modular Construction company establish in Ireland. Modular construction is 50% quicker and 20% cheaper (McKinsey Report on Modular Housing).
